I am a designer and an artist! My life is filled with nerdom and dogs- it's fairly balanced.
I love a challenge and am highly competitive. I love any and every opportunity to deep dive into new topics, especially if they will lead to a new adventure. I am a natural explorer- new hobbies, new destinations, new books, new concepts.
Professionally I specialize in structured layouts and shine during the research and planning stages. I am a firm believer that thoughtful approaches produce thought provoking designs. I have designed a a variety of things for print including t-shirts, brochures, and business cards. I am even published on a few board games, some with big name licenses. I have decided to transition into UX/ product design after completing a user experience bootcamp through Georgetown University. I wish I discovered this path sooner, though personally I think my experiences and growth or my love for research are what lead me to this career path.
I became interested in design in high school (back when MySpace was still a widely popular thing) by designing profile layouts for myself and my friends. I didn't know then what that passion and entrepreneurial spirit would lead to and I found my love for design. I have always found problem solving for the user experience and visual aesthetic to be exciting and in ways, therapeutic.
I am constantly learning something new and continuously exploring techniques and ideas. I don't know it all, but there isn't anything I can't learn. Peruse through my work examples and contact me to discuss how I can be of value to you!
